WEDDING REGISTRY

We're not really "fine china" and "gravy boat" people, so our wedding registry can be found at the following locations:

Amazon has EVERYTHINGAmazon.com

Founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994, and launched in 1995, Amazon.com began as an online bookstore but soon diversified its product lines by adding VHSs, DVDs, music CDs, MP3s, computer software, video games, electronics, apparel, furniture, food, toys, and more.

I Heart IKEA Ikea (gift card)

IKEA is generally pronounced /i'ke.a/ but in many English-speaking regions, it is pronounced /ai'ki-a/, rhyming with the word idea. It is generally pronounced /i'ki.a/ in China, Singapore and Taiwan. Its Chinese name is Yjia, which literally means "fit for home" in written Chinese and resembles the phrase "right now" in Cantonese pronunciation.

Target is better than Walmart Target

Target is a chain of discount department stores that carry hardlines ("regular" products and goods), softlines (clothing), and a limited amount of groceries, mostly non-perishable. Many Target stores may also have one-hour photo processing, a portrait studio, an optical store, a pharmacy, and a garden center. Stores opened in 2004 or later generally include a Starbucks Coffee shop, a Pizza Hut Express, and a Taco Bell Express in addition to Target's Food Avenue.

urban outfitters ROCKS Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters originated as a store called "The Free People's Store", focusing on "funky" fashion and household products. The president of Urban Outfitters became controversial in early 2004 when the company advertised t-shirts bearing the slogan "Voting is for Old People." Recently, the retailer has come under fire for offering sparkly handgun-shaped Christmas ornaments in its hometown of Philadelphia - a city that had seen over 1,700 shootings and over 300 gun-related murders in 2006. The Anti-Defamation League has repeatedly condemned them. Jon and Steph would just like some paintings and a coatrack.
